I just recently took a trip to Portland and did an epicurean walking tour - yummy, fun, and informative!  As we strolled through the Pearl District and sampled food from various restaurants, there were a number of things that made me think, "That is sooo Portland!"  For example, the city is working hard to make the streets biker-friendly.  I've always considered Portland to be an environmentally-conscious city, so it came as no surprise that this was a priority.

The same is true for any city, including Seattle.  For me, it�s the Starbuck�s thing.  When I worked downtown at Columbia Center, there were 3 coffee stores in one building (granted, a large one) � Starbucks on the 1st retail level, Tully�s on the 2nd retail level, and another Starbucks on the 40th floor � that�s sooo Seattle!!

So I pose the question to you:  What�s your "sooo Seattle"?  It could be a landmark, an experience, an observation, whatever just pops into your mind.  Have fun thinking about what makes this place we call "home" so unique!
